2013 ~ The  Real Journey To Get Fit Begins~

February's journey   will be posted on: 3/1/13. 

 

I'm blogging my fitness journey more closely to  the beginning.  I was so excited that I didn't weigh myself at the begginning. Who does this?   Me, obviously.

  I will share with you the beginning, the middle and the continuous. There is no end to my  fitness journey. Once I reach my  goal, I  have to maintain  to remain.  I will  include both  good and  bad days. 

January

2013 came in wet. Raining all day and cold. Fitness wise, this year didn't start off so good for me.     My exercise routine was slow but steady. About the middle of the month I started my  squat challenge.  125 +  squats a day.  Once a week weight training  using 10 -15 lb weights.  Power walking DVD using  10 lb ankle weights.   Squat exercises are really good when you want to burn calories. When using  your large muscle groups, you will burn calories more  quickly.   Really have to work hard if I want  next month (February) to be  AWESOME!   See you in March with the results. 

February

 February Challenge:  Cardio- Showing love to my heart through exercise.

February is Healthy Heart Month: A healthy heart = a healthy you.

 This month was a lot better than the last.  I did  cardio and weight training.  Increasing my weights and/or reps.   Stepping up  the intensity of my workouts. Sometime you have to do that especailly if you want to see continious positive results.  Finally figured out how I can create a fitness challenge calendar for each month.   See you in April with March results.
